In celebration of Women’s History Month, At Her Table brings together more than 150 women-owned and co-owned businesses in San Luis Obispo County for Women’s Week. - This 7-day county-wide event features special menu items, workshops, and discussions that encourage open conversations about the stories of local women in the food and beverage industry. It will take place from Sunday, March 6th to Sunday, March 13th.
At Her Table launched in 2021 amidst the pandemic. It started with 36 members and has since tripled in size. They now have over 150 members, and this year they will be offering over 50 food specials & events for SLO County to enjoy throughout the week.
"It’s our vision to create a county-wide event that everyone can feel in their hearts and experience. We want the community to come together to take notice and celebrate that special woman in their life. Everyone is welcome to join!” Explains Michelle Barrera, Founder of At Her Table.
Female-owned restaurants are offering unique menu items throughout the week like the Glass Ceiling cocktail brought to you by Kimberly Walker& Dominque Gonzales at Granada Hotel & Bistro where guests are encouraged to break the 'glass ceiling' with a small hammer and dilute a rock candy into their glass full of bubbles.

Beyond food offerings, there will also be discussions. Jaime Lewis of Consumed will be moderating “Behind The Bar” at Highwater. This event discusses the experiences of women in the alcohol industry. They will be sharing their stories and there will be an HR representative to educate the community on how we can best support women in these roles. Mixer event to follow!
You can purchase exclusive specials like the Yes Cocktail Co X Her Table Cocktail Kit! This kit will feature a selection of owner Lauren Butler’s favorite products, custom recipes created for Women's Week, and a link to a video showing how to make the drinks and hear more of the stories behind them.
